The Headmaster of the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe, send his condolences to Derek's family at this sad time. There are, I'm afraid, no staff left here from that era but I feel certain that Derek will be well remembered by OWs (old boys). The family will, I hope, be pleased to know that music continues to be strong at RGS HW with an active choral, orchestral and jazz programme in addition to healthy (by today's standards) numbers taking the subject at GCSE and A Level.
